Ok here we go again…..

Ya one down!

Bone heart:
Let your love last through the ages. This one says it all romance, love, forever, and bones. Note the exquisite toe tag letting all you sappy lovers out there personalize this valentine for the bleeding heart in your life. If you are a true romantic and have love in your bones then show a little love with the “fawn-d of you” heart for that special day.

So the nitty gritty of how this came about. I know I have found the perfect place in smeared and smudged because I will not have to explain myself. Finally. So I started with a dear that had already passed (I or anyone I know had no part in the harming of any animals). I cut the ribs in half and arranged them into a heart. Glue and done. I added the toe tag touch because for some reason baby dear ribs weren’t morbid enough for me. My stamp is ever so simple but perfection when taking the theme into account. Sparkly CS and red archival ink, done. Oh ya go red sharpie.

You all have no idea how super it is to finally have this up!

  13. Your bone heart is beyond amazing! I wish I could find some wicked bones or better yet, a skull. Very clever project! The toe tag adds the perfect touch to your piece :) May I ask what type of glue works best with bones?

    1. If the bone is smooth then get your the mini bits out and carefully drill, screw, and then of course connect the bones with screws ;). Ha Ha. But If it is rough ends or you can scratch it up them I was able to just use plain old hot glue because it was flexible enough to take any impact since the heart was so skeletal :) .
