Smeared Ink Design Team monthly blog hop

Ok so here we go again,
Over at Smeared and Smudged  our lovely design team gets to show off some wonderful creations using Smeared Ink images every month. I have a bit of a video and some pictures to share with all of you today. You can find the hop roll on my side bar.

All of my images are from Smeared Ink.
I used two headstones from the Build a graveyard set
as well as the skull front image from Anatomy 101

Before the smoke
I hand painted the head stones without R.I.P. on them lit a match a voila!

Love the flame in the background
The light at the bottom are the still burring embers

We run challenges every month for all you wonderful crafters too. Head on over to Smeared and Smudged and join our wonderful unique group.  This month for our Rock N Rolla challenge we are doing the title sequence to skyfall. Head on over and you will figure out my inspiration.

  4. Whoa, smoke adds that killer effect. Was worried that you might burn your images, but think they may be on the outside (?). Wonderful coloring on images and such a creative and awesome idea!!

    1. I was totally worried that it would burn the images up too. I planned to be able to get one shot of the video and pics because the fire was inside. Yet I go very lucky and nothing burnt at all.

  7. What an interesting technique with the fire and smoke. I really like the end result. I have decided to stay away from open flames, but this may be something I can handle.
